Details
On August 3, 2022, a threat actor "dior" from BreachForums posted a data breach package targeting Egypt Furniture, a furniture manufacturer and retailer from Egypt that deals with house and hotel furniture. The breach post has now been removed from BreachForums. The threat actor noted that the data package is from July 2022 and includes around 14,000 rows of user information. From this package, ZeroFox extracted 14,760 email addresses. Of these, 13,766 records were successfully linked to hashed passwords. Other notable data fields observed in this package include name, mobile number, gender, age, marital status, education, and current job.

Recommendations
- If not already enabled, turn on the compromised credentials rule for all relevant entities and ensure relevant emails are entered for those entities, or reach out to [email protected] for assistance
- If one of your entities receives an alert, ZeroFox recommends immediate password changes for the affected account
- Enable 2-factor authentication for all of your organizational accounts to help mitigate phishing and credential stuffing attacks
