On August 19, 2022, a threat actor "tilly" from BreachForums posted a data breach package targeting Adopt Me Trading Values, a U.S.-based trading mini-game that is made for Roblox players. The breach post has now been removed from BreachForums. The threat actor noted that the data package includes 104,000 user records. From this package, ZeroFox extracted 103,131 email addresses and hashed passwords. Other notable data fields observed in this package include IP and Roblox username.

Recommendations

• If not already enabled, turn on the compromised credentials rule for all relevant entities and ensure relevant emails are entered for those entities, or reach out to [email protected] for assistance
• If one of your entities receives an alert, ZeroFox recommends immediate password changes for the affected account
• Enable 2-factor authentication for all of your organizational accounts to help mitigate phishing and credential stuffing attacks
