Details
On July 20, 2022, a threat actor "see_u_rf" from BreachForums posted a data breach package targeting İleti Yönetim Sistemi, a Turkey-based national commercial electronic message management platform which allows the service providers to store and manage different types of message permissions. The threat actor noted that the data package is approximately from June 2022 and the database leaked due to an exposed ElasticSearch server. From this package, ZeroFox extracted 271,533 email addresses and/or usernames. No passwords were found in this breach. Other notable data fields observed in this package include name, address, and phone number.

Recommendations
- If not already enabled, turn on the compromised credentials rule for all relevant entities and ensure relevant emails are entered for those entities, or reach out to [email protected] for assistance
- If one of your entities receives an alert, ZeroFox recommends immediate password changes for the affected account
- Enable 2-factor authentication for all of your organizational accounts to help mitigate phishing and credential stuffing attacks
