Russian Airstrike Falls Near Convoy Carrying Ukrainian President, Greek Prime Minister

Russia conducted an airstrike on Odessa that landed between 150 - 500 meters away from a convoy carrying Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. In a press conference after the incident, Zelensky said the strike should serve as a reminder to Ukraine's Western partners about the need to strengthen Ukraine's air defense systems.

Armenia Requests Russia Remove Border Guards from Yerevan Airport

Armenia sent Russia a letter ordering the termination of Russian border guards operating at the Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan. Armenia now wants the airport to be fully staffed by Armenian border guards. This development again highlights the deteriorating security partnership between Russia and Armenia.

Houthi Missile Attack on Cargo Ship Claims Three Lives

A Houthi missile attack on a cargo ship claimed three lives in southern Yemen, marking it as the first Houthi attack with fatalities. The cargo ship carried a crew of 20, including one Indian, four Vietnamese, 15 Filipino nationals, and three armed guards. The British embassy stated that this incident was an “inevitable consequence of the Houthis recklessly firing missiles at international shipping," adding that these attacks need to stop.
