10 People Shot in a Nightclub in Queens, New York

A mass shooting incident at a nightclub in Queens, New York, has left at least 10 people injured, according to the police. The incident occurred at Amazura event hall on 144th Street and Archer Avenue in Jamaica, Queens, at around 11:20 pm local time. A New York City Police Department spokesperson has said the 10 injured individuals are expected to survive and are not in critical conditions. Investigations are ongoing, and no suspects have been identified at the time of reporting.

FBI Probes New Orleans Truck Attack After Suspect’s Pro-ISIS Videos Surface

President Biden addressed the New Year’s day attack in New Orleans, where a truck plowed into a crowd, killing at least 15 and injuring over 30. He stated that the FBI found the suspect had posted pro-ISIS videos just hours before the attack. The investigation is still in its early stages, with authorities also looking into possible links to a Tesla explosion near President-elect Trump’s Las Vegas hotel. The Tesla Cybertruck, rented in Colorado, arrived in Las Vegas two hours before the explosion and was packed with fuel canisters and firework mortars. The blast claimed the life of the driver while injuring seven others. Meanwhile, officials postponed the Sugar Bowl between Georgia and Notre Dame due to the New Orleans incident.

National Mourning Following Tragic Montenegro Shooting Incident

A gunman in Cetinje, Montenegro killed at least 10 people across multiple locations before attempting suicide when cornered by the police. Among the victims were two children and four others who sustained critical injuries. The incident has led to a three-day national mourning and calls for stricter firearm regulations, likely leading to a ban of weapon possession altogether.
