Key Findings
- The June 14, 2026, No Kings organized activities likely represent a strategic pivot away from mass street marches toward an indoor, hyper-local model built around the “Rise Up, Sing Out: A Concert for the First Amendment” live stream from The Town Hall in New York City and nationwide watch parties.
- This format shift very likely lowers the baseline risk of large-scale street unrest and broad commercial disruption on June 14 from the June 2025, October 2025, and March 2026 days of action, which each set single-day U.S. protest records.
- Watch parties and localized actions are confirmed across at least 21 states; events have thus far been scheduled in and around Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, and San Francisco, with the flagship concert in New York City.
- ZeroFox assesses the credible risk of violence as low but non-zero. Over 99 percent of the March 2026 No Kings demonstrations were peaceful; residual flashpoint risk persists chiefly near federal facilities such as Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and courthouses, as well as in cities with recent escalation histories (Los Angeles, Portland, and Dallas).
- Washington, D.C., is almost certainly the highest-profile security node due to the UFC Freedom 250 event that will be held on June 13 and 14 on the White House South Lawn. No Kings organizers have likely deliberately avoided staging in Washington, D.C., again; as of early June, federal and local officials have not reported any credible threats to the event.
- Threats to private businesses from No Kings events on June 14 are very likely limited and indirect. Businesses that host watch parties and those that are subject to continued consumer boycott campaigns are likely to face limited economic risks rather than property targeting.
