Key Findings
- Ransomware and Digital Extortion: Six threat groups posted new leak-site entries, including Panzer, OROVA, Play, Gunra, Qilin, and Chaos.
- Unauthorized Access Marketplace: Actors advertised network access to unnamed organizations on Exploit and PwnForums, including VPN access purportedly to a UK-based cloud service provider and multiple Thailand-based government entities.
- Vulnerability and Tooling Commercialization: Actors advertised alleged zero-days on Exploit and BreachForums, one affecting FortiManager and two unauthenticated SQL injection flaws in commonly used myBB plugins; a critical unauthenticated arbitrary file read vulnerability in Gitea (CVE-2026-59774) was disclosed.
- Hacktivism: The Infrastructure Destruction Squad claimed DDoS attacks against domains associated with Narayana Health and India Healthcare Tourism, and advertised an automated exploitation and exfiltration tool, "BLACKNET-CORPORATE-BREACH-HUNTER," on its Telegram channel.
- Emergent Leak Site Infrastructure: Two new Tor-hosted leak sites were observed, "Panzer" (two listings) and "Dark Project" (19 listings spanning multiple sectors across the United States, Mexico, and Canada).
- Data Dissemination and Telemetry: Forums hosted several data-sale claims referencing financial and private-sector organizations, including data purportedly associated with SS&C Black Diamond Wealth Solutions and CARMA, alongside ten newly processed breach datasets. Futhermore, credential intelligence systems ingested over 1.3 billion combined compromised account (CAC) and botnet records between July 9 and August 5, 2026.
