Fox Spotlight: Kim Cooper

Fox Spotlight: Kim Cooper
3 minute read

While 2023 has been a fast and exciting start for ZeroFox, it's important to pause for a moment and appreciate the people that have helped us grow and exceed the goals we have set for ourselves.

We sat down with one of those people, Kim Cooper, Senior Technical Account Manager, as she discusses the journey to that led her to ZeroFox, her favorites shows, and more.

Tell us a little bit about your career

It’s interesting to find myself in this industry because I started out in journalism. I graduated from Temple University with a journalism degree and did a lot of freelance writing work (including an article in People!). I also worked as the food and dining editor for a local magazine before finding myself at a SaaS-based PR company. Eventually, I found my way to ZeroFox and I’ve never turned back.

How do you like to spend your free time?

Hanging out with my family, reading horror books, and spending time with dogs and guinea pigs at our local animal shelter.

What do you do at ZeroFox?

I’m a senior technical account manager.

What industry-related misconception drives you crazy?

Anything surrounding the dark web. Talking to people outside of the industry, it’s clear that they watch too much TV.

What three words would you use to describe ZeroFox?

Fast paced, innovative, organized.

Coffee, tea, or neither?

Both but coffee is life.

If you were a professional athlete, what would your walkout music be?

Probably something by Bleachers because they are great for getting you pumped.

What’s your guilty pleasure movie?

National Treasure (my husband flat out told me NOT to ever admit that it’s my favorite or else people will think I’m a hardcore nerd. Whatever, I’m a hardcore nerd).

If you could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be?

Poland. My family is from Poland and we still have family there on my mom’s side. Plus, the food. To die for.

What is your favorite TV show and why?

The Mandalorian is the easy answer. It’s Star Wars themed, a space western, and has the two best TV characters ever. Hell’s Kitchen would be a close second because it’s trash reality TV and I live for that.

Do you have a favorite musician or band? If so, what’s the one song you’d recommend people listen to of theirs?

There’s too many bands and musicians to choose from! If I had to recommend my most favorite song, it would be Only The Wild Ones by Dispatch. It has very mellow, fun vibes and a good message. Or something Paul Simon.
